The
Tectonic plate
The tectonic plate are the large pieces of rock. It’s make up the outside surface of the earth. The Alfred
Wagner found that when he was came up with the theory Continental shift. There
were four layer in the earth that made up planet. It like Crust, Mantle, Outer
Core, and Inner Core. The crust outer layer that we live on that is made up of
plates. (Ocean or Continent). The mantle is a very thick and it’s made up of
molten rock is like a liquid. It is made up of the crust with convection
currents. The outer core is made up of melted metal (iron and nickel). And
Inner core is solid and it’s made up nickel and iron as well.
There were also the three types of plate boundaries that
related to the theory of plate tectonic. The
convergent, divergent and the
transform boundaries. The convergent is coming together, Divergent are
separating and transform is move sliding pass each other.
Fault is connected to plate tectonic. Fault also have three
types: Normal, Reverse, and Strike Slid.
The normal is the
movement of going down, reverse going to up, and the strike slid is the
movement of slide passing.
Reflection
I was
doing this project, I enjoyed most of the part. The research was interesting
but I never knew that earth’s reasons. The project was little bit difficult
because some of word I never heard. The challenging part was to get information
it in my own word to present to the teacher. I learned working more on
PowerPoint and making fordable. I don’t really have nothing to change about the
tectonics plate’s project. The important thing everybody should know in the
world, why this things happen us.

Rock summary
The rock cycle is the process of the different rock types changing into the others. The Magma comes out of the Volcano and known as Lava. When Lava cools down and solidifies by the time, it turns into Igneous Rock. Then by weathering the rock breaks into small pieces of rock which called sediments. After this process sediments moves by air or water which known as erosion. When erosion stops new rock forms called Sedimentary Rock. Sedimentary rock forms by Compaction and Cementation. After Metamorphic Rock formed by heat & Pressure. When Metamorphic rock go deep down near Magma by heat the rock starts to melt and turns into Magma. Rock changes to metamorphic rock by heat and pressure. This process forms a Metamorphic rock. The Metamorphic rock keep going down and heat melts Metamorphic rock into magma. The rock cycle support working to different processes.
